Our journey so far
13 August 1985 | Karm is founded
What began as a dream took shape into existence on 13 August 1985 when RS Mishra, an ex-Cummins engineer, established Karm Sales & Service. Having served Cummins in a wide range of technical responsibilities, including overseas assignments, he was trusted with the dealership of Malanjkhand. Malanjkhand is an open-pit copper mine in India with the leading Hindustan Copper Ltd, a major client of the company.
2001 | Expansion
With impressive business & aftermarket support activities demonstrated by Karm Sales & Service, in 2001, Cummins awarded KSS with the additional business territory of Durg & Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh.
2003 | Making our mark
With this ever-expanding zeal to create an unmatched standard of sales and service, KSS embarked on the journey of further acquiring the territory of Raipur, Dhamtari, Jagdalpur, Mahasamund, Kanker, Dantewada, and Kawardha in Chhattisgarh which brought in several big-time customers with it.
2009 | Recognition
The successful blooming of the enterprise in the newly acquired areas of Chhattisgarh aided the selection of KSS as an Authorized Sales and Service dealer vested by Action Construction Equipment.
2012 | Adding another gem
The year 2012 was equally rewarding as Asia Motor works conferred Karm Sales and Service the Authorized Service dealer status.
2016 | Expanding in Central India
On December of 2016, Cummins rewarded KSS with the Mahakaushal region of Madhya Pradesh, which includes the area of Jabalpur, Shahdol, Katni, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur, Mandla, Dindori, Seoni and Balaghat.
2017 | Steps in Maharashtra
Another feather in our cap was endowed with the responsibility of the Vidharbh zone in Maharashtra. KSS takes pride in their trade and service as they cater to the area of Nagpur, Chandrapur, Bhandara, Amravati, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Wardha & Yavatmal since September 2017.
2020 | Going all out
As the world took a pause in March 2020, Karm demonstrated an unceasing response to this newfound crisis and made its mark in the market as a force to be reckoned with. Cummins, in turn, conferred the additional territory of Korba, Raigarh, Janjgir, Champa, Ambikapur, Surajpur, and Shahdol to Karm in April 2020.
2021 | Taking UP in our umbrella
As Karm Sales and Service acquired the majority of Central India, it was only opportune for it to be awarded a responsibility to aid the customers of Uttar Pradesh and obtain the region of Central India entirely. As of January 2021, KSS now caters to the customers in Singrauli, Sidhi and Waidhan in M.P. and Robertsganj and Mirzapur in U.P.
